¡Bienvenidos a mis clases de Español!
Hello and welcome! I’m Sra. Chastain, and I’m thrilled to be your Spanish teacher this year.
I was born and raised on the beautiful tropical island of Puerto Rico, and moved to Texas 22 years ago. Over the years, I’ve grown to love this great state and proudly consider myself an adopted Texan!
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras campus, with a minor in English as a Second Language for Spanish Speakers and Speakers of Other Languages. I began my teaching journey instructing English in Puerto Rico, but after relocating to Texas, I discovered my passion for teaching Spanish, and I’ve loved it ever since. Whether it’s English or Spanish, I genuinely love all things language!
This year marks my 15th year teaching at Trinity High School, and it continues to be a joy and privilege to work with our amazing students.

Tutoring Hours:
Due to the amount of planning and work, I will only do tutoring on Tuesdays and Thursdays, preferably after school, from 4:10 - 5:00.
If the student can do tutoring only in the mornings, this can only be by appointment only.
