Primary Function of the School Resource Officer

A Police Officer/School Resource Officer is on duty on campus during regular school hours and during school activities to insure the safety of students, faculty and provide campus security. The School Resource Officer will provide police protection of school property, personnel and students; investigate criminal acts on school grounds. He will serve as liaison between the school, the police department, juvenile officials, probation officials, courts and other agencies of the juvenile justice system.
