Mrs. Gilani

Hello! I'm excited for the upcoming school year and to meet all of you. My name is Sana Gilani and I will be teaching 8th grade math as well as 7th Grade STAAR math. This is my 3rd year at Central Junior High and my 8th year as a teacher.

I am a proud product of HEB ISD! I attended Midway Park Elementary, Euless Junior High and Trinity High School as a child. After graduation, I attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas where I majored in Finance.

I am married and have 2 little boys, Ezra is 3 and Eli is 5 months. I also have a dog named Einy.

Last year, I only taught virtually so I'm excited to have all my students back in my classroom this year! My hope is that the students become more confident in math and continue to grow as students.

My Mission

My mission is for all students to show growth over the year in their math classes by practicing the skills and techniques we learn in class and asking for help when they need it.
