Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test

All students in Grade 10 will have the opportunity to write the OSSLT
twice during the 2024-2025 School Year.

The test will be administered in Semester 1 (Fall) and Semester 2 (Spring).

OSSLT Practice Test

Click here to access a practice test. This includes a guide to familiarize students with the online testing tools and functions.

The OSSLT is a graduation requirement.

A mark of 75% or greater is needed to achieve the OSSLT graduation requirement.
Students who are not successful will have the chance to rewrite the OSSLT next semester.
Future dates will be communicated with students and families as they are scheduled.
