Walk Across America

March 2025 Program 

What? Walk Across America is a morning walking program to help students increase activity levels.

Who? ALL  UPES students, parents, and grandparents are encouraged to attend. 

Where?  Students should be dropped off at 8:30 by the gym doors, located near the playground.  Please drive in the Pleasant Avenue driveway and out towards Hawkins Avenue. Students will start the program in the Pleasant Avenue gym and will walk the building hallways or around the UPES track. Adults who will be attending will need to enter through the main entrance on Union Street. 

When?  8:30am-8:50am – Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays

Grades                Start Date

4th and 5th grade                 March 10, 2025

2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th         March 12, 2025

K, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade March 13, 2025 

After the first week, students may attend all three days 

(Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday).

The last day for the program will be May 15, 2024.
