I hope everyone had a great and relaxing summer break. I am very excited to meet all my students and their families.
I believe that education is so important, and communication is a large part of building strong relationships and ensuring student success. I want you to feel like you can always contact me. I can be reached by notes, email, or through calling the school.
We are going to have a great year! Welcome to kindergarten!
Please allow me to tell you all about myself. First, I am so very excited to be teaching kindergarten at Don Steed Elementary School for the 2017-2018 school year. My name is Jenae Cook. I am fairly new to Hoke County. I am from Missouri, but I have lived in several places and states due to being an army wife. I am the mother of two beautiful little girls, and the step mother of a handsome little boy. I graduated from the University of Colorado in December of 2015. This is my second year at Don Steed, but my first full year, and my first year in kindergarten.
First off I love being a mommy. I love being a military wife, and getting to travel and live in new places. I love to be outside. I really enjoy working out and staying active. And, lastly I love to read.
Drink: water (boring, I know)
Book: Oh the Places You'll Go by Dr. Seuss
I am looking forward to getting to know your students and all of you.
Lets make a difference in our wold together!
