Class overview

In this classroom, I aspire to create an environment where each student feels accepted, supported, and cared for. I believe that students can not learn to their greatest potential if they are not in a classroom they feel most comfortable in. I promise to provide your students with a classroom of faith, and love. In first grade, we will be working on their reading, writing, handwriting, spelling, addition, subtraction, and STEAM. STEAM means a focus in Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics .

About me

Hi! I'm Miss Nicole Youtzy and I am so lucky to be your child's first grade teacher. This year we will be growing together in our faith and our academics. I can't wait to spend each day with your child, helping them grow into an even greater version of themselves.

This is my first year teaching at Holy Cross! I graduated from Bloomsburg University, earning my certificate in Early Education PK-4. Growing up, I went to the neighboring parish, St. Teresa of Calcutta every Sunday and attended their PREP program. I am more than excited to share my faith with your child this school year.

I am the youngest of three. I have two older sisters, who are my absolute best friends. We recently welcomed my brother in law into our family, which has given me another best friend. I grew up and currently live in Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania with my two parents, and my dog Oscar!

I am more than excited to get this year started and feel so blessed that I am trusted to educate your child. Thank you for sharing them with me, and I can't wait to see where this school year takes us.
