And Advanced Dance Placement Auditions

If you are uncertain about your dance placement for next year and have prior dance training in ballet, modern, jazz, or other styles of dance, completing the audition is highly recommended so that you may be placed in the appropriate level for the upcoming school year.

Please note that incoming freshmen are only eligible for placement in Dance 1 - 4 or Junior Dance Company G/T as specified by HCPSS
Current Dance Company members are required to complete the audition.

Workshop to learn the dance combinations

March 14th

You will select a 10 minute time slot to present your combinations for the judges. Time selection is on the registration form.

YOU MUST ATTEND BOTH DAYS

Steps to Audition

STEP 1: Review the Audition Overview Document

STEP 2: Complete the Registration form for your audition
Due to Ms. Rocco by March 4th

STEP 3: Share the Teacher Recommendation Form with at least TWO of your teachers
Due to Ms. Rocco by March 4th (send this to your teachers ASAP to provide them time to complete).

STEP 4: Arrive to auditions on time!
Dress to move: black bottoms and solid shirt or leotard, hair secured out of your face
Bring dance shoes if you prefer, barefoot is acceptable- no socks
