This seminar is designed to explore key topics in forensic science. Throughout this seminar there will be both virtual and hands-on experiences using a variety of forensic tools and technology resources. Students will be obtaining data and applying scientific processes to understand the details of a crime; therefore, fictional crime scenarios will be used to understand concepts and processes.

Applying critical thinking and problem-solving strategies
Using effective oral and written communication
Evaluating available resources that can assist in solving problems
Recognizing a problem and brainstorming ways to solve the problem individually or collaboratively
