2018-2019 Registration Information

We will begin registering for classes for the 2018-2019 school year on Monday, February​​ 12

All students who are currently taking Earth and Environmental Science, American History I and American History II will be involved.

Dates To Know:

Monday, February 12- Wednesday, February 14: NHHS counselors will visit all Earth and Environmental Science, American History I and American History II classes to talk with students about the NC graduation requirements and answer any questions you may have about courses, graduation requirements and/or the registration process.

During this visit, you will receive a 2018-2019 North Henderson High School Registration Worksheet as well as your One Page Transcript Summary. You will use these materials to select your courses. *You will also receive a printout that contains important academic information relevant to NHHS, which includes the NC High School Graduation Requirements. This document is yours to keep.

Monday, February 19 (or earlier): The 2018-2019 North Henderson High School Registration Worksheet as well as your One Page Transcript Summary MUST BE RETURNED to your Earth and Environmental Science, American History I or American History II teacher no later than Monday, February 19. *These materials will be reviewed by counselors and redistributed when you enter your course requests into Power School. **Please review the course options and give careful consideration to your course selections. Schedule changes will NOT be allowed in the fall.

Tuesday, February 20- Thursday, March 1: You will enter your course requests into Power School with the assistance of high school counselors during your Earth and Environmental Science, American History I or American History II class. * Counselors MUST review your transcript to verify that you are progressing toward graduation and selecting appropriate courses BEFORE you will be allowed to submit course requests in Power School.

If you would like to get a head start and begin thinking about your course selections for the 2018-2019 school year-- I have attached registration materials for your viewing (with the exception of your Transcript Summary). We encourage you to spend some time discussing your course options with your parents/guardians.
