SMILES - Kindergarten
Welcome to my site. Our SMILES Program is designed to provide an extra 30 minutes of literacy instruction to our Kindergarten students. The first part of our daily lesson includes a whole group review of what we are learning in Letterland phonics curriculum. After whole group instruction, we break down into four groups and provide differentiated instruction. Each group is instructed by a classroom teacher, classroom assistant, reading tutor, or me. Letterland is an engaging and powerful motivator in helping our students become lifelong readers and writers.
