Student Access: A Partnership with the Henderson County Public Library

It's as if the book shelves in your WHHS library just expanded - A LOT!

Borrow eBooks instantly, for free, using just the device in your hand.

The Follett Destiny Catalog (online system which allows us to locate books) is available to use at any time and from any device.

If we do not own the materials you need we can help find them for you at our local public library.

About Us:

The media center provides access to a variety of resources including books, magazines, newspapers, online databases, computer programs, audiovisual materials and much more. These resources are made available to support student learning and to ensure that students develop into information technology literate citizens. In the West High Media Center we work to assist students with selecting the materials and resources they need to best answer their questions and successfully complete their assignments. We help to guide them in selecting the book that best suits their individual interests. Currently the media center has approximately 10,000 books, 15 magazine/journal subscriptions, and 2 newspaper subscriptions available for checkout. The media center serves as the technology hub of the campus. We manage all HCPS devices such as Chromebooks, laptops, iPads, printers, projectors, software and desktop computers. We also help with student computer account information (log-ins / passwords).
