THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON EARTH AND ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES, MINING FOR DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION, GREEN DEVELOPMENT AND RESPONSE TO GLOBAL CHANGE

GREEN EME 2023

The fields of Earth Science, Mining, and Environment (EME) have evolved in tandem with the progress of society, exerting a profound influence on all aspects of human activities and socio-economic development through the processes of resource exploitation, environmental protection, and responses to global change. The strong growth of these domains has become foundational for numerous basic and applied sciences, propelling technological advancements worldwide and contributing to humanity’s prosperity.

As the world experiences the fourth industrial revolution (Industry 4.0), our nation faces significant challenges in terms of regional and international competitiveness. Consequently, the urgency to innovate in training, basic and applied research in EME has never been greater. Scientists bear the responsibility and obligation to create groundbreaking advancements in these fields, driving technology development for green growth and effective responses to global changes. This endeavor ensures the cultivation of high-quality and skilled human resources, fosters scientific and technological products, and facilitates knowledge transfer, ultimately meeting the nation’s needs for sustainable development on both regional and international scales.

In 2023, with the consent of scientists from the Interdisciplinary Professor Council of Earth - Mining Sciences, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM) in collaboration with the Viet Nam Meteorological and Hydrological Administration, will proudly host the esteemed international scientific conference “Earth and Environmental Sciences, Mining for Digital Transformation, Green Development, and Response to Global Change” (GREEN EME 2023). This conference serves as a vital platform for numerous stakeholders, including managers, scientists, lecturers, entrepreneurs, graduate students, and undergraduate students in the field of Earth, Mining, and Environmental Sciences.

Objectives

The primary goal of the GREEN EME 2023 Conference is to attract esteemed scientists, leaders, managers, and entrepreneurs with a keen interest in Earth Sciences, Mining, Geology, and Environment (EME) to create a vibrant forum for exchanging specific research findings and addressing overarching academic issues in these fields.
