Description: The participants will learn the characteristics of students identified with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and how these characteristics might manifest into behaviors that inhibit learning. The training will offer an understanding on how the autistic student learns. Research-based strategies will be provided on how to best provide services for an autistic student in the General Education classroom resulting in increased student performance.
