Kindergarten and 1st Grade Art Project for the Week of March 15-19
Use the materials you have! You might use crayon and the inside of a cereal box, that's ok!
2nd and 3rd Grade Art Project for Week of March 15-19
Use the materials you have! Add other details if you wish. Video direct draw (step by step examples) coming soon.
4th and 5th Grade Art Project for the Week of March 15-19
Celtic Knot Art Project Challenge. This practices the skills of overlap and shading. Use your pencils or whatever materials you have.
Step by step visual directions
Draw over part one side of the circle but not the other. This makes the rings look linked together like a chain.
Erase when you need to!!
Keep adding circles or another shape
Add shading on the part that is supposed to be under the other ring/shape
Add a splash of color from colored pencil.
Keep playing with it. Remember, there's no mistakes in art, only new opportunities.
My 9 year old granddaughter made this one. She chose do it like the overlap projects we did a week ago, rather than linking them like a chain. Great idea.
