The Henrico County Council PTA Reflections Program is apart of the has a long-standing engagement into arts and education. In general, the Reflections Program has been a national program for over 50 years. This program provide students with an outlet to express themselves in an artistic way. More specifically, Henrico County Students can create original works in the areas of visual arts, music composition, dance choreography, literature, photography, and film production. The Reflections program allows for students to compete and share their works on a local, state and national level to receive certificates, prizes and scholarships.
Annually, hundreds students in pre-K through grade 12 create original works of art in response to a student-created theme. Students submit in one or more of the available arts categories and, based on grade and/or support needs, participate in one of the program divisions.
Each year, one student from around the county chooses a theme for the Reflections Program. We are proud to announce this year theme:
"What My Culture Means to Me"
All student entries must be created based on this theme.
