You have made it to the John Harris SAP team page! The Student Assistance Team (SAP) here at John Harris is a group of helpers in the building (social workers, counselors, teachers, support staff, etc) who are dedicated to helping students and families get connected to resources inside and outside of school that can help! Sometimes for Mental Health support, sometimes for Resource Connection and sometimes for Drug and Alcohol support. We know this is a time filled with uncertainty and ongoing stress for our community - and we are glad you have made it here to find some support and connection!
For more information about SAP (who we are, some FAQs, etc) you can find our official website through the link below!
Use the links below to be connected to our weekly ZOOM support groups. We are in the process of establishing some various options for our students to gain some weekly support for concerns such as:
Grief and Loss
Managing Anger/Regulating Emotions Appropriately
Female Empowerment
Men's Mental Health
We will have links to these groups shortly as we want to be sure your classes and online learning are established before pulling you for a group! Members of the SAP team will be in touch once groups begin and we will communicate with your teachers if you will potentially miss any instruction time due to group participation!
