Week 4's Task
We are learning to use direction words to help Dusky the cat get back to school.
School is almost back! Dusky needs to get back to school before everyone else. Help Dusky get back to school, but don’t forget to feed her on the way!
Instructions:
Use the words up, down, left and right to make a pathway for Dusky to get to school with a full belly!
Fast Finishers: See if you can make a pathway for Dusky without bumping into Buster the dog and the trees!
Task Rua (Two)
We are learning to use direction words to get Mr Monkey back to his treehouse.
Mr Monkey can’t collect his bananas without the help of his friends. Help Mr Monkey get back to his tree house so he can ask his friends for help.
Instructions:
Use the words up, down, left and right to make a pathway for Mr Monkey to get to his tree without running into his bananas.
Make sure you draw your pathways in your books and write the directions for Mr Monkey.
Fast Finishers: Now make a pathway for Mr Monkey to collect all the bananas with his friends.
Practice your left and rights by doing the actions to this song.
Task Tahi (one):
Draw a picture of how you would get from one room in your house to another. Or, draw a picture of how you walk from your house to the park. Remember to use the arrows to show where you are going.
