Water is the most precious resource on the planet. However as we have seen, as a society we are not very good at looking after it. Due to the increasing demand for water in the Auckland area and internationally, how are we as a society trying to conserve water?
As a student you may not care about how you get your water or what is in it when you get it. However the water you get could be dirtier than you think! With water levels decreasing should we take more care of our waterways?

Use the Jamboard to come up with different ways we can conserve or protect our water ways and water supplies.
In your writing groups come up with a script as to why we should be conserving water and taking better care of our local waterways. Then you will perform your script in front of a camera with each member of the group taking turns to speak about why the do or don't believe in taking care of water.

Once you have completed these tasks post some of your work to your school blog. Write about what you have learnt this term so far about water and water conservation.
