For this assingment we used different tools to creat shapes and get used to the software.
I designed my keychain in adobe illustrator with my first name in the light gray in the back and my last name in black in the front. Then I laser cut it and put a keyring on it.
We made name stands with the laser cutter, I wanted mine to look unique so I didnt really have a plan going into it. I liked how it turned out because of the cool shape.
Logo Design laser cutter
My logo has my initials D.B.C and the number 13 in it. I used the razterize tool to make the drawing a vector in Adobe Illustrator. Then I printed it out with the laser cutter.
First Sketch

Illustrator Sketch
Sketched in vectors
Final Product
Laser cut wood using the Fusion Pro.
We made a 3D printed version of our logo, using 3 different heights, the 3d print is the same size as the laser cutter version.
Illustrator Design
3D design
3D print
the last version of our logos we made was the vinyl cut version. the vinyl cut is also the same size as the laser cutter.
In order for the vinyl cutter to work I had to import the file in a special way, layers. these were the layers I used
all the layers stacked on top of each other
I put all of the final versions of my logo into a 6-pack design with the sketch, Illustator Design, Laser Cutter, Vinyl Cutter, 3D design and 3D Print. The size of the logos matches the size of the physicals things when printed out.
