Welcome to the WiDS Hawai‘i 2023, a regional event on the WiDS initiative. Our event is April 28, 2023 from 12:00pm to 4:00pm HST. This year is the third Hawai‘i-based event, one of an estimated 200+ regional events worldwide in more than 60 countries.

The WiDS 2023 Hawai‘i event is an independent event that is organized by University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa and Chaminade University to coincide with the annual WiDS Worldwide conference organized by Stanford University. All genders are invited to attend WiDS regional events which feature outstanding women doing outstanding work. The event is sponsored in part by Booz Allen Hamilton.

The WiDS 2023 Hawai‘i event is free and open to anyone interested in data science. With an online format this year, we hope to have attendees from throughout Hawai‘i and the Pacific. Students of all ages (from high school to graduate school) will find topics of interest, as will those who have already launched their data science careers.
