Abstract

Tabletop SR source MIRRORCLE is different from regular SR in the radiation generation mechanism, the properties and spectrum of the radiation, as shown in the following table. MIRRORCLE is advanced in the spectrum up to the electron energy, offers smaller focus point, wider angular spread, and the larger total flux, but the brilliance is much smaller for the x-ray energies below 100 keV.

In this table only the properties of X-ray beam are summarized, but MIRRORCLE also generates very bright FIR, VUV and soft X-rays. PPL has experience in the successful commissioning of 4, 6, and 20 MeV MIRRORCLE. Also we have demonstrated the usefulness of XAFS, SAX, XRD, and FIR beam lines as shown in the next picture.
