This bridge connects our Junior and Upper Schools, which we are fortunate to have the land, access and space for. We acknowledge that Havergal stands on the traditional Indigenous territory of many Nations, including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples. As a learning institution, we are committed to our collective and continued learning about Indigenous peoples, those who came before us and have cared for this land and how Havergal can grow in the space of diversity, equity and inclusion to more authentically live by our values of inquiry, integrity, compassion and courage. Our mission to prepare young women to make a difference both demands and inspires this.
