7-P9 Sphero Maze

1. You can drive around and keep kids entertained.
2. You can make a song and play it to everyone in the room by moving the sphero around.
3. You can make a on/off switch where the sphero activates it.
4. You can make a project for kids to learn how to learn.
5. You can make a automated timer where the sphero is put in a time and then makes a obnoxious noise when the timer goes off.
6. You can make a bowling game where you win no matter what.
7. You can make a video with sounds and code in it to explain.
8. You can make a sphero go Jurassic.
9. You can make it go around a shape.
10. You can make it go around the inside of a shape.
11. You can make a no-touch game.
12. You can make it follow a path.
13. You can make a vehicle.
14. You can make a light show.
15. You can code it to make a path throw a crowded way.
16. You can have the sphero race other spheros.
17. You can play a sumo bump game.
18. You can teach kids about angles better.
19. You can code with Star Wars Characters, getting kids to code even more.

22. You can make it do hardcore par-core(crossing gaps on planks, going through).

This is my sphero maze project. In this project we picked and drew a shape, we chose a star. Then we coded our sphero to go around the five angles and ten sides.

This project had many standards tied into it. The standard that is most connected to this project is innovative designer. The reason for this is because it had us design a shape that would be used in the maze portion where we would do our coding.

One of our challenges in this project was that of turning the sphero. At first all was fine, until we turned the wrong direction. Them we did the same thing over and over again, until we figured you added instead of just using the same thing over and over.

There are a few things I might do differently. One thing I might do differently next time is change the shape. The reason for the change of the star into, let us say a circle would make it harder and increase the difficulty and make it even more enjoyable.

There are many jobs that are tied to coding and other parts of this project. The job that resonates the most with me is software coder. This resonates well with me because this has coding that would be useful for most machinery and computer servers.
