This is the SS Sango Video, we made it so the music is off putting
This is the boat before it sank. It carried 107 pennies.
This is my boat, it is designed after the Banana boat. during it's run, it held 9 washers.
For the first part of the project, I made a banana boat that held 9 washers before sinking into the water. For the second part of the project, I joined a group and made a Deck Boat. It held 107 pennies in total over 3 minutes.
In this project I learned how to make a boat so it will be able to hold lots of objects before it sinks to the bottom of the sea. This is a good skill to learn for if I become an architect that creates designs for cargo boats. The reason for that is because this project required us to build boats that are structural sound and can hold a lot of cargo.
There are many standards that could fit into this project. For this project, we used Creative Communicator because of the group working together. Another reason for this is because we used multiple designs and decided on one design one of us made.
One of the challenges we overcame during this project is deciding on what boat design to use. We first looked at all three designs and eliminated one design, then choose the last design based on size and decor. That is how we solved our challenge, with the power of selective choosing.
If I were to do something differently, I would make the foil boat have no holes or tears. This way it would not sink as fast as it did. I also might've got the award for the foil boat contest.
