These are the characters so far. They are from two precious games. Ken (left) is from three to four games, mostly mainstream. Tim (right) is from two games and a short film.
These are the two maps for now, though the only operable one is Hearth Valley, a lush green valley with forests, streams, and tons of evil robots. As of Moon Base Alpha, it is on the moon, near the impact sacrificing point for the last of the cryofreezed.
My Steam project was a Cospaces one, ha ha ha. Yes, I know it is getting repetitive but this time I made a multiplayer game where you use virtual characters to win a smack down. The game has two characters at the moment, Ken and Tim. They are both characters with unique stories and powers.
One thing I learned, hmph, this is going to be a hard one. Wait, the character selection with the multiple players. So I coded in a way for the first player to click their character then the second player would and then the game would begin.
This is the last project, so the standard I am using is empowered learner. The reason is very funny however, as it involves failed projects and old things. The selection was made in a different game where you needed to type in a code to get back to the level you were at.
Well, this time I did have a big problem, I wasn't able to make the attacks take out the players. The thing is I was using wrong commands and items. So I made it that the command would collide with the player and that is how I solved my problem.
Ah, the what you would do differently question, that brings my memories. I would make more characters, perhaps more attacks and a new working area. That would add more content that would interest people more.
A career that could connect to this is game developer. Yes, most of these projects would get me game developer because they include game features that some big gaming company might want. But mostly because this represents a version of Smash Bros., a Nintendo product.
