It's GREAT to be a Hartselle Tiger!

HHS Receives College Success Award

GreatSchools.org honors schools that have a successful track record of going beyond graduating students to helping them enroll in college and succeed once they get there. The 2020 GreatSchools College Success Award recognizes 2,158 high schools, representing about 21% of eligible public high schools across 29 states.

In Alabama, 64 public schools earned a College Success Award in 2020 based on their success in preparing students for college and ultimately career. The College Success awards recognize public high schools that stand out in getting students enrolled in - and staying with - college.

Congratulations, Hartselle High School, on this achievement!

The Pre-K students in Mrs. Williams' class at Barkley Bridge spent the first week of October learning all about different kinds of community helpers. They had a visit from Officer Bob, and he shared what it's like to be a police officer.

The 5th-grade Team Hard Work was the Tiger Way Team winners for the 1st nine weeks. We are proud of all our students who follow the Tiger Way at HIS.

Congratulations, Team Hard Work!

Hartselle Selected AFA Squadron of the Year

The United States Air Force Association’s Montgomery chapter recognizes CAP Cadet Units for their outstanding work each year. The chapter accepted submissions from Civil Air Patrol units across the State of Alabama. They convened a board of USAF military and civilian personnel who reviewed the packages and made the ultimate selection for this year's recognition. Hartselle’s General Joe Wheeler Squadron, was selected by AFA as the Squadron of the Year for 2020. A presentation of the award will take place in the near future at Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama.
