HCS Kindergarten Registration

April 25th - Time 3:30 pm till 6:30 pm

In-District students will register at the schools.

Out-of-District students must register at the Board of Education.

Please bring the following with you:

  • Custody papers (when applicable)
  • Proof of Residence; regardless if you are in or out of District (utility bill/rental agreement)
  • Official Birth Certificate
  • Original/Valid Alabama Immunization Record
  • Child's Social Security Card or Number
  • Parent/Guardians Driver's License
  • The child must be present when registering for Kindergarten

Morgan County JV Softball Tournament Champions

Congratulations to the HHS JV Softball team! The JV defeated Danville 11-0 in the championship game on April 12 at Wilson Morgan Park.

HIS Stock Market Game Winners

Congratulations to Olivia Preuitt, Kayla Mitchell, Lyndie Ikard, & Khloe Simmons! These girls won 1st Place in the State in The Stock Market Game! This team finished the game with over $126,000 (a profit of $26,000 in 12 weeks.

HHS International Thespian Society Induction

On Monday, April 15th, the officers of the International Thespian Society inducted its newest members and presented a showcase of talent. New Members are Jennifer Rhodes, Grayson Ball, Timothy Brown, Jr., Kari Erickson, and Jackson Little.

Hartselle High Fishing Team Results – Lake Pickwick on Saturday 4/20/19

Senior Division:

Andrew Ekema / Gib Stafford finished in 37th place with 4 fish and total weight of 7.48 lbs

Fisher Lovill / Bradley Burden finished in 144th place with 1 fish and total weight of 1.57 lbs

Junior Division:

Grant Hembree / Elijah McDonald finished in 2nd place with 5 fish and a total weight of 7.18 lbs

Harrison Sparks / Bo Webster finished in 3rd place with 2 fish and a total weight of 4.67 lbs

Let's Pretend Hospital

The HHS Medical Academy recently held its annual Let's Pretend Hospital. Around 200 1st graders from CES and FEB participated in simulated areas of a hospital, such as Admitting, Triage, Radiology, OR and a Patient Room. The students also rotated through a Bone Lab to create a skeleton, a Trauma Lab to learn how to control bleeding and when to call 911, and a Handwashing Lab to learn how proper hand hygiene keeps you healthy.

CES 2nd Grade Math Egg Hunt

Crestline second grade students had a math egg hunt last Tuesday. The eggs contained math problems. After the students solved the problems, the kids who solved the most got ice cream. There were 18 who answered 30+ math problems correctly! Great job, guys!

HJHS State Choral Performance Assessment

All three choirs from HJHS participated in SCPA in Huntsville and received overall Superior ratings. TB and SA Choirs received a 1 2 1 on stage and a 1 in sight reading. SSA Choir got all 1s. SA and SSA Choirs both received perfect scores in sight reading! Congratulations choirs on your achievements!

HHS Track Wins at Cullman Invitational

The Hartselle Track and Field teams competed in the Cullman Invitational on Saturday. The boys team were competition champions.

1st place finishers included:

  • Hawken Foote, Andy Lamb, Hunter Driver, & Devron Turney: Boys 4x400
  • Carson Levario-Slaten: 1600 meters, 3200 meter dash.
  • Hawken Foote: 800 meter dash
  • Hunter Driver: 300 Hurdles
  • Masyn Marchbanks, Shelby Roberts, Emma Grace Lang, & Serenity Bass: Girls 4x400
