Greetings!

My name is Kirsten Taylor and I love being a Hawk! I am entering my third year at HMS and 9th year overall of teaching. This year I will be in the special education classroom. I can't wait to be back at the high school level. Additionally, I coach varsity cross country, varsity track and field, and weightlifting for HMS.

Originally from the Brainerd Lakes area in central Minnesota, my passion for sports in high school earned me a scholarship in track and field at the collegiate level. I graduated college from Augustana University with majors in All Grades Education, Physical Education, and Exercise Science. I spent my first four years teaching in Western Colorado before meeting my husband, and moved back to the Midwest in 2019. We live in his hometown in Okoboji, and have a Rottie named Sasha. I enjoy traveling, hiking, cooking, paddle boarding, and anything sports related.
