2024 Central District FFA Fair

July 7th, 7:30pm Update: The District Fair Horse Show will be held at the 

Missouri Valley Indoor Arena, 1918 Co Rd 205, Marshall, MO


Livestock Exhibitors are highly encouraged to show off their trailers.  If a livestock exhibitor needs to stall in the barn, a $20 deposit will be required (which will be returned when the stall is cleaned up after the show).  If you are showing pigs and stalling in the barn, please bring a divider gate (sliding gate or trailer dividing gate) to serve as the front gate for barn stalls.  

Monday, July 8

(Area Officer Assignment – Area 6 – Livestock, Area 7 – Crops, Floriculture & Mechanics)

8:00 AM        FFA Horse Entry Starts ‐ Enter Day of Show

8:00 AM        Breeding & Market Swine Must be Checked-In

8:00 AM        Weigh‐In/Check-In Lambs/Sheep

9:00 AM        FFA Horse Show at Missouri Valley College DJ Rodeo Arena (Judge: Kara Wilkerson)

9:00 AM        Swine Show (Judge: Brody Nemecek)

9:00 AM        Sheep Show (Judge: Aaron Amick - updated 6/14/24)

9:00 AM        Weigh-In/Check-In Meat Goats

11:00 AM      Meat Goat Show (immediately following Sheep) (Judge: Aaron Amick - updated 6/14/24)

11:00 AM      Exhibits to be in place – Hams/Bacons, Field Crops, Floriculture, Fruit and Vegetables and Agriculture Mechanics.

3:00 PM        All Exhibits (Hams/Bacons, Field Crops, Floriculture, Fruit and Vegetables and Agriculture Mechanics) need to be removed from the Multipurpose Building


Tuesday, July 9

8:30 AM        Beef  Check-In

8:30-10 AM  Rabbit & Poultry Check-in

9:30  AM       Beef Show (Order: Heifers, Cow/Calf, Bulls, Market, Showmanship) (Judge: Shawn Varner)

10:30 AM      Rabbit & Poultry Show

10:30 AM      Dairy Cattle Show

In the event of rain, please check the District FFA Fair website the morning of the show.  

If rain, the Horse Show is likely to be held at the Missouri Valley College DJ Rodeo Arena, 1918 Co Rd 205, Marshall, MO

All entries must be entered on a computer sheet and turned in or emailed electronically to the
DISTRICT FAIR OFFICE.

District Fair Office is in the Multipurpose Building at the Saline County Fairgrounds.
