Harmony Science Academy - Garland ESL Department

Goodbye and Farewell

The 2017-2018 school year is over! We've had an eventful year and I'm sure students and teachers alike are looking forward to the summer break. We hope everyone has a fun-filled summer but don't forget to read, read, read! Enjoy your summer and we'll see you for the 2018-2019 school year!

Harmony Science Academy - Garland will now be excepting applications for Pre-kindergarten! Come pick-up a registration packet (which you can request it in your native language) today. Any questions or concerns about eligibility, please direct to our front office.

Our curriculum will be Big Day for PreK.

Big Day for PreK is organized into eight engaging and child-friendly themes. As the year progresses, the themes in this early-learning program broaden, and children begin to understand more about the world around them. The flexible content allows prekindergarten teachers to incorporate their own favorite themes into the classroom.

End of Year ESL Student Progress Letters

Since we will not have the TELPAS scores until August 2018, we will wait to send ESL progress reports for grades 2nd through 6th grade until the beginning of the next school year. This way we will be able to include their Yearly Progress Report, STAAR scores, and TELPAS scores. Keep an eye out for the letter in late August or early September.

Adult ESL Classes

Our Adult ESL Classes are in partnership with Richland College and completely free! Anyone wanting to improve their English skills and is over the age of 18 is welcome.
