What is Olson Park PTA?

Our PTA (parent-teacher association) is a group of parents, grandparents, guardians, and teachers working together to discuss matters that affect our children and to organize events to help raise money for Olson Park.

Why should you join the PTA?

·         To Stay informed about things happening at the school.

·         Let your voice be heard.

·         Use your special skills to make a difference in your child’s school.

·         It’s fun!

Why is there a membership fee?

·         Olson Park PTA is a member of The National PTA and Illinois PTA. These are all non-profit advocacy organizations. Your membership fee goes to help these organizations advocate for children.

How does the Olson Park PTA benefit the school?

• Help teachers to buy resources to use in the classroom.

• Help pay for field trips.

• Plan family events such as the walk-a-thon, family bowling, the fun fair, and family and friends nights.

• Help pay for special events such as Goodies with Grown Ups.

How to become a member?

• Pay the $5 membership fee – cash, check (made out to Olson Park PTA), or PayPal (Olson Park PTA)
