District 122 schools are closed effective March 16 through Thursday, April 30, 2020. This is being done to mitigate the risk of community spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus).
The Harlem School District #122 has worked diligently to prepare for the likelihood of such closure. Information regarding our comprehensive contingency plan can be found within these pages
School Closure Update - March 31, 2020
On March 31st, Governor Pritzker announced that he will be extending the school closure through the end of April. We will continue to provide updates as we learn more. Beginning tomorrow, April 1st, we will implement our District’s e-Learning Plan for the duration of the school closure.
As a reminder, we are serving grab-and-go meals at Harlem Middle School on Mondays from 9:00 to 1:00. Each child will receive meals for the week (5 breakfast/5 lunch).
If the Governor should make changes to the Executive Order and extend the closure to be longer than April 30th, we will inform you through our normal means of communication.
