Advanced Placement (AP): Advanced Placement courses are rigorous classes that include college-level content and skills and culminate with an AP test. Passing scores on this test result in college credit at most college and universities, notably including all public institutions in Illinois.
Articulated Credit (AC): Articulated credit courses allow students to earn credit at both Harlem and Rock Valley College. Students earn the RVC credit if they attend that community college after graduation from high school.
Dual Credit (DC): Dual credit courses allow students to earn credit at both Harlem and Rock Valley College. They are aligned and taught in collaboration with RVC courses.
