Welcome to The Zephyr Club!
The Zephyr Club is a creative community of dedicated students at Harborfields High School, advised by Mrs. Ritter. Together, we design and publish our school’s annual art and literary magazine—completely student-created from start to finish.
Each issue features original poetry, artwork, and writing submitted by HHS students, making Zephyr a true showcase of our school’s creativity and talent.
We’re proud to share that Zephyr has been recognized by the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) as a publication of excellence, including our most recent award-winning issue in 2025!
If you have any questions, please contact Mrs Ritter (rittere@harborfieldscsd.org).
Big news! The Zephyr Club’s student-designed art and literary magazine has been honored by the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) as a publication of excellence for 2025!
This year, schools in 44 states, Washington, D.C., and six countries nominated 456 student magazines.
Magazines from middle school, high school, and higher education were welcomed for the 2025 contest.
The REALM program publicly recognizes excellent literary magazines produced by students with the
support of their teachers. REALM is designed to encourage all schools to develop literary magazines that
celebrate the art and craft of writing. Schools in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, US territories,
Canada, and American schools abroad are eligible to nominate magazines.
