Overview

The Adapted Sports Program (ASP) Has been developed to showcase various skills of the Adapted Curriculum Athletes. Athletes participate in sport skill training during their scheduled Adapted Physical Education class and showcase their growth in competitions in a controlled and safe environment.

The HCSD ASP program is open to all students in the Haralson County School System and their invited competitors. Competitions and events are specifically designed for those students who may not be able to participate in other 'general' or 'traditional' athletic activities due to physical or intellectual disabilities.

Mission

It is the mission of the HCSD ASP to be recognized as a leader in improving student achievement in personal health and sport for ALL students.

Vision

It is the vision of the HCSD ASP to produce high achieving students who will graduate and become productive, healthy, active, and responsible citizens.
