Diwali Celebration

Students of Hanumant High School enjoyed Diwali Celebration with great enthusiasm on 8th November 2023. The young students proved that creativity and talent do not have boundaries. Diwali is a festival of lights and symbolizes the spiritual “victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance”. Diwali is the festival of lights which is celebrated in various regions across India and the world. The name ‘Deepavali’ literally means an ‘array of lights’.

Diwali Celebration started with an amazing prayer by Mr. Shailesh Jadav. Alvira, a student of grade VIII welcomed the students, Parents, teaching and non-teaching staff of Hanumant High School. A sweet and beautiful dance was performed by the students of grade IV to showcase the celebration of Diwali. We all know The Ramayana at some extent. So to relive the era of The Ramayana, the students of grade VI to IX presented Ramlila (Theme Dance) on the stage. That was a fabulous performance.

Principal, Mr. Rajesh Tiwari encouraged and motivated the students with his views on Diwali. He appreciated the efforts of the participants to make this celebration a success. To make the celebration more memorable students of grade VII and VIII sang a melodious song. The performance was outstanding.

Ayesha, a student of grade IV presented vote of thanks. On behalf of Hanumant High School, she thanked all the students and parents who remained active till the last moment to witness the celebration. Over all it was a full-fledged Diwali Celebration where the students performed enthusiastically and parents enjoyed whole heartedly.

Pre-Primary - Celebration - Diwali

Diwali, also known as the Festival of Lights, is one of the most vibrant and widely celebrated festivals in India. It holds a special place in the hearts of people across the country. The festival is not just about lighting lamps and bursting fireworks; it is also about spreading joy, happiness, and love.

In pre primary section the teachers and children enjoyed it together by doing the different activity like colouring the fire crackers Nursery ,crafty lantern in Jr kg and the Sr kg learner decorated the Diya by using the decorative materials and paints.

Teachers conduct storytelling sessions where they narrate the epic tale of Diwali, highlighting the victory of good over evil and the return of Lord Rama to Ayodhya. This helps children understand the significance of the festival.

The Diwali celebration in pre-primary schools is not just about fun and games; it's an educational and cultural experience for young children. It helps them learn about the rich traditions and values associated with the festival.

Primary - Activity - Eclipse

Group work gives students the opportunity to engage in process skills, critical thinking for processing information, and evaluating and solving problems, as well as management skills through the use of roles within groups.

On 2 nd November, 2023, students of Hanumant High School of grade V conducted a group activity on the topic solar eclipse, lunar eclipse, neap tide and spring tide in the classroom. The aim of this group activity was to enhance the confidence, leadership quality and thinking capacity.

Primary - Activity - Making 12- hour and 24- hour clock

Learning how to tell the time is extremely important for children. Understanding 12- hour and 24 – hour clock time is a basic skill that should be learned by all.

An activity was conducted with regards to Mathematics Topic: ‘Time’ in Grade 4A on 2 nd November, 2023. The purpoose of the acivity was to make students understand how to tell time in 12- hour clock and 24- hour clock. As we use 12- hour clock & 24-hour clock in our day to day life at airport, railway station, etc. Hence, it is important to make students understand this concept. The groups actively created the presentations and each one presented with the brief description.The students did the activity with great enthusiasm and team work.

Primary - Activity - Exploring Moon Phases

Earth's Moon is the brightest and largest object in our night sky. The Moon makes Earth a more livable planet by moderating our home planet's wobble on its axis, leading to a relatively stable climate. It also causes tides, creating a rhythm that has guided humans for thousands of years. Representing beginnings and ends, new moon energy is way different than Full Moon energy. Since the moon encourages us to look inward, moon-mapping is especially important for inner work. The moon is a natural satellite of the Earth and plays crucial role in Earth’s tides. To understand this topic an activity was conducted on 2 nd November 2023, for Grade III–A students, in subject Science. The curriculum embarked on an exciting journey to understand concept of Moon phases, helping them understand how the Moon’s appearance changes its orbit around Earth.

Primary - Activity - Water cycle

Students of Hanumant High School, Grade 4 performed a group activity on 6th November 2023 to get an idea about water cycle. Students got theoretical as well as practical project knowledge about it. The water cycle is controlled by the Sun, which produces energy in the form of heat. This heat energy causes the water in the world's oceans, lakes, and even puddles in our backyard, to warm and evaporate. As the water evaporates into a vapor it rises in the atmosphere and cools.

The Water Cycle is carried out through four stages: Evaporation, Condensation, Precipitation, and Collection. Evaporation.

Secondary - Activity - Role Play

Grade 9A of RBK Hanumant High School – Mahuva, participated in an activity conducted by Prashant Sir for SS. In this activity the students played different roles based on History, Civics, Geography and Economics. They performed different roles very well and through that activity they got the closer look towards the concepts and the characters depicted in the text book. It was a fun moment for the students along with the learning process in interesting and unique way.
