Voice of Mahuva

The voice of Mahuva singing competition held on 15-June at Hanumant High School showcasing the musical talent of various age groups.  The event aim was to encourage and celebrate vocal prowess among the people of Mahuva.

Each participants bringing their unique style and voice to the stge. The participants were from different age group demonstrating a wide range of musical genres and singing techniques.

The judging panel consisted of esteemed faculty members known for expertise in music and performing arts. They evaluated the performance based on criteria such as vocal quality, pitch accuracy, stage presence and overall presentation.  The judging process ensure fairness and accuracy in determining the winners.

"The Voice of Mahuva" singing competition was a resounding success providing a platform for people of Mahuva to showcase their musical talents and fostering a spirit of healthy competitoin. The event not only highlighted the diversity of talent within the people of Mahuva but also inspired many, pursue their passion for music. it was a memorable event that left a lasting impression on all who attended emphasizing the importance of music culture.

Overall, The competition served its purpose in promoting musical excellence and creating memorable experiences for participating and spectators alike. 

Investiture Ceremony 

On Wednesday, June 12th, 2024, Hanumant High School held its Investiture Ceremony. The theme of the ceremony revolved around leadership: "The pessimist complains about the wind; the optimist expects it to change; but the leader adjusts the sails. If your actions create a legacy that inspires others to dream more, learn more, do more, and become more, then you are an excellent leader."

The ceremony served to badge the student leaders for the upcoming academic year. These leaders will be responsible for organizing and leading all curricular and co-curricular activities throughout the year. They are expected to work collaboratively, put forth their best efforts, and introduce innovative and challenging events. The newly formed council consists of Head Boy Krushn Selani, Head Girl Dwija Vaghani, Deputy Head Boy, Deputy Head Girl, House Captains, Vice Captains, and Prefects. The badges and sashes were conferred upon them by Principal Pratima Verma, Secondary Coordinator Dilip Patel, Middle School Coordinator Minaz Jamani, Primary Coordinator Dipesha Dodiya, and all the teaching staff members.

Principal Pratima Verma delivered a motivational speech, offering her golden words of wisdom to the student leaders. Her speech aimed to help them develop a clear vision for achieving their goals by performing their duties with dedication. She emphasized their role as torchbearers of the school's values and urged them to embrace their responsibilities with commitment and integrity. The ceremony culminated with the proud parents witnessing their children being conferred with the badges and sashes, a moment that undoubtedly filled them with immense happiness.

 Digital In-House Election

Students of Hanumant High School celebrated Election Day by voting for the Students' Council on Friday 7th June 2024. Students not only participated actively but also felt the thrill of the election. Students were overjoyed as they experienced how real-life election takes place.

Students who nominated themselves for the different posts of the Students’ Council went to different classes for the campaigning. They tried to convince the voters (students of different grades) to vote for them.

For the first time in the history of the Hanumant High School, students did digital voting.

Physical Education teachers, Mr. Sourabh Gorai and Mr. Arif Sir conducted the election successfully. The election was conducted very smoothly. All the students of Hanumant High School participated enthusiastically.

The objective of appointing the Student Council is to provide a platform for the students to develop leadership qualities by organizing and carrying out school activities and service projects.  In addition to planning events that contribute to school spirit and community welfare,

the Student Council is the voice of the student body.  They help share student ideas, interests, and concerns with the school community.

Yoga Day Celebration

International Yoga Day 2024 was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Hanumanth High School. It was a day dedicated to raising awareness about this ancient practice and its profound impact on physical and mental well-being.

Yoga's ability to relax the mind and body, while strengthening the immune system, was highlighted throughout the event. The principal, teachers, and students all came together with great energy to participate.

The celebration began with warm-up exercises, followed by guided sessions on sitting and standing yoga postures (asanas). The instructors explained the benefits of each pose as students practiced them.

This wasn't just about physical postures; the importance of yoga for achieving harmony between mind and body was emphasized for all participants - faculty, staff, and children alike. Students even showcased their yoga skills and pledged to make yoga a part of their daily routine.

Yoga's beauty lies in its ability to unite mind, body, and soul, leading us towards inner peace and a sense of well-being. Let's all take a moment to breathe, pause, and truly embrace the essence of yoga.

Here's to spreading positivity and encouraging each other to explore the transformative power of yoga! Together, we can create a ripple effect of positive energy that transcends borders. Let's embark on this incredible journey of self-discovery and inner strength.

National Reading Week

National Reading Week, celebrated from June 19th to June 26th, 2024, aims to encourage high school students to develop a love for reading and improve their literacy skills. The purpose of this initiative in high schools includes:


 Listening Skills, Speaking Skills, Self-Confidence and Personality Development


It is often said that "books are the window to the world," and avid readers wholeheartedly agree. Reading not only expands one's knowledge but also improves communication skills and promotes overall personal development. To emphasize the importance of reading in our internet-driven age, National Reading Week is celebrated on June 19–26, 2024, at RBK Hanumant High School, Mahuva.

This day commemorates the death anniversary of P.N. Panicker, known as the "Father of the Library Movement" in Kerala. He spearheaded activities through the Kerala Grandhashala Sangham, sparking a cultural movement in Kerala that achieved universal literacy in the 1990s.

Pre-Primary - Activity - Father's Day

Create lasting memories between fathers and their children.

 This activity allows young learners to understand and celebrate Father's Day. Even at a young age, they can participate and show appreciation for their fathers.

Pre-Primary - Activity - Yoga Day

Enhancing Flexibility and Strength: Simple yoga poses help young children improve their flexibility, strength, and coordination.

Developing Motor Skills: Through various poses and movements, children can develop both fine and gross motor skills.

 Physical Development , Mental Development , Emotional Development

Physical Skills, Gross Motor Skills

   Balance: Poses such as tree pose and warrior pose help children develop balance.

  Coordination: Transitioning between different poses improves overall body coordination.

  Strength: Holding poses like plank or downward dog builds muscle strength.

Primary - Activity - Northern Mountains of India

The activity was conducted on 10th June 2024 in Grade 4 A & B, focused on exploring the Northern Mountains of India.

The objective of the activity was to familiarize students with the geography, features, and

significance of the northern mountain ranges in India.

Prior to the activity, students were introduced to the concept of the northern mountains through

classroom discussions and visual aids such as maps and photographs.

The activity involved interactive learning stations where students divided into four groups and

engaged in tasks related to different aspects of the northern mountains. They created posters

showcasing the diverse culture, wildlife, vegetation and the main mountain ranges found in the

northern mountains.

The activity fostered active participation and engagement among students, encouraging

collaborative learning and teamwork. Through hands-on tasks and visual aids, students gained a

deeper understanding of the geographical features, ecological significance, and cultural importance of the northern mountains.

In conclusion, the activity provided a stimulating and enriching learning experience for Grade 4

students, enhancing their appreciation for the Northern Mountains of India and the profound role they play in shaping the nation's landscape and heritage.

Primary - Activity - Grammar (Words and Sentences)

An art-integrated activity conducted in grade 2 on 14th June 2024, it designed to enhance Grade 2 students' understanding and usage of words and sentences in grammar. By combining art and

language skills, the activity engages students creatively while reinforcing grammatical concepts.

The students created artwork and wrote sentences describing their creations, integrating visual and linguistic expression.

The objectives of the activity

To develop an understanding of sentence structure through descriptive writing.

To enhance vocabulary.

To encourage creative expression through art.

To integrate visual arts with language, fostering a holistic learning experience.

The integration of visual and linguistic elements provided a multifaceted approach to learning,

making grammar enjoyable and memorable.

Secondary - Activity - ‘ व्यक्तित्व परख’

● What is the purpose of doing the activity? कक्षा सहपाठी अपने मित्रो के व्यक्तित्व गुणों के बारे में जान सके |

सच को सच साबित करनेकी कलाकारी मुश्किल है।

चाटुकारी चाहिए सुर्खियों में रहने के लिए,

मुझ जैसे सरल मानव के लिए यह चाटुकारी मुश्किल है,

वफादारी मेरी लोगो को समझ नहीं आएगी झाहिर सी बात है,

नासमझ लोगो के लिए दिल से वफादारी मुश्किल है।

आदत लगी है कई लोगो को गद्दारी करने की,

मगर मेरे यारो मेरे लिए गद्दारी मुश्किल है।

झूठ से भरी है दुनिया, झूठ को सलाम करती है,

सच के साथी बनने की यहाँ पर साहूकारी मुश्किल है।

वह समझदारी नहीं मुझमे जिसमे हित हो सिर्फ मेरा,

इसीलिए पीछे रह गया क्यूंकी, स्वार्थ की हुशियारी मुश्किल है।
