Pre Primary Section - Vowels and Consonants

Vowels and consonants are very important to introduce in kindergarten as it helps the children with phonics sound and to make small sentences and where they should be used.

To make them more clear about vowels and consonants the teacher did an activity with the children on a cut out of hand print. The teacher told them to write down the vowels on the tips of fingers and the consonants on the palm, they were easily able to differentiate the letters.

Such activities develop the learner’s communication and increase their creative skills.

Primary Section- Word and Sentences

A sentence has a sound when you arrange it in proper order. One great way to do that is through Sentence Framing.

Secondary Section - ART INTEGRATED SCIENCE ACTIVITY – LIFE PROCESSES

As a part of AIL in science, the science teacher conducted an activity in Grade 10 A, from chapter Life Processes, topics the heart and circulatory system, on 18/06/2021. She already told the students to attend the class with necessary things such as A4 size paper, pencil. colour, etc.

The teacher conducted the activity by using videos and a whiteboard. She explained to the students the different methods to draw a human heart diagram and circulatory system and with the help of the same diagrams she makes them understand the working of a human heart and double circulation in humans. Extending the learning from here, with the help of the teacher the students then made a labelled and coloured diagram of the human heart and circulatory system. The students have attended the class very enthusiastically and they actively participated in the activity. The teacher told the students to upload the diagrams which they made and she advised them to make a small video along with the diagram which they made, to explain the functioning of the human heart. This activity allowed students to realize visually how their heart looks and it's working. Really it was a nice experience for students as well as the teacher.
