Guru Purnima Celebration
Hanumant High School celebrated Guru Purnima with great devotion and reverence on 29th July 2026 through a special morning assembly presented by the students of Grade VII. The celebration aimed to honour the invaluable role of teachers and gurus in shaping the lives and character of students while instilling the values of gratitude, respect, and lifelong learning.
The assembly commenced with the school prayer followed by a meditation session, creating a serene and spiritual atmosphere. The students of Grade VII then presented a thoughtfully planned cultural programme that beautifully highlighted the significance of Guru Purnima.
The programme featured a graceful dance performance, an inspiring drama, and a soulful rendition of the Guru Paduka Stotram. Through these performances, the students expressed their gratitude towards teachers and conveyed the timeless message that a guru is a guiding light who imparts knowledge, wisdom, and values. The audience appreciated the students' confidence, coordination, and heartfelt performances, which made the celebration both meaningful and memorable.
The assembly concluded with the National Pledge and the National Anthem, bringing the programme to a respectful close. The Guru Purnima celebration served as a wonderful reminder of the importance of respecting teachers and acknowledging their selfless contribution to society. It was a spiritually enriching and inspiring experience for everyone present, reflecting Hanumant High School's commitment to nurturing moral values alongside academic excellence.
Indian Heritage Quiz
Hanumant High School successfully organized the Indian Heritage Quiz Competition, an inter-house quiz competition, on 20th July 2026 in the school premises. The event was conducted with the objective of enhancing students’ knowledge about India’s rich cultural heritage, history, traditions, and achievements while encouraging confidence, teamwork, and healthy competition.
The competition was divided into two groups: Junior Category (Classes III–VII) and Senior Category (Classes VIII–XI). Students from all four houses—Love, Compassion, Peace, and Truth—participated enthusiastically and showcased their excellent knowledge and quick thinking abilities throughout the quiz.
The programme was attended by the Principal, Vice Principal, Coordinator, teaching staff, and students, making it an engaging and memorable event for the entire school community. The quiz consisted of multiple rounds that tested the participants’ knowledge of Indian culture, history, geography, famous personalities, and national symbols.
After an exciting and closely contested competition, the winners were announced. In the Junior Category, Compassion House secured the First Position, followed by Love House in Second Position, Peace House in Third Position, and Truth House in Fourth Position. In the Senior Category, Peace House secured the First Position, followed by Compassion House in Second Position, Love House in Third Position, and Truth House in Fourth Position.
The judges and teachers appreciated all the participants for their sincere efforts, enthusiasm, and sportsman spirit. The Indian Heritage Quiz Competition proved to be a grand success, providing students with a valuable platform to strengthen their knowledge of India’s glorious heritage and inspiring them to take pride in the nation’s rich cultural legacy.
Secondary - Activity - Budget Builder
A Financial Literacy activity was conducted for the students of Grade 8 at Hanumant High School, Mahuva. The objective of the activity was to help students understand the importance of budgeting and managing monthly expenses wisely.
During the activity, students were asked to prepare a monthly budget on a chart paper according to the budget limit and conditions given by the teacher. They creatively presented their budgets using different colours, charts, and attractive designs. The students displayed excellent creativity and understanding while preparing their “Budget Builders.” The activity was highly engaging and helped students develop practical knowledge about financial planning and responsible spending.
Primary - Activity - Two states showdown
The Grade 4 students enthusiastically participated in the "Two State Showdown – Compare and Discover!" Subject Enrichment Activity under the lesson Our Country India on 27th July 2026. Students worked in pairs to compare two Indian states based on their physical features, climate, culture, food, festivals, and famous places. They presented their findings confidently using charts and visuals, demonstrating creativity and teamwork. The activity enhanced their research, communication, and comparison skills while deepening their understanding of India's rich diversity. Overall, the activity was interactive, engaging, and helped students appreciate the unity in diversity of our country.
Primary - Activity - Number Caterpillar
Class 3 students creatively presented the “Number Caterpillar” activity to demonstrate their understanding of ascending order. They designed colourful caterpillar models using circular cut-outs and displayed 4-digit numbers on each segment. Students arranged the numbers systematically in ascending order and showcased their completed models. Through this engaging activity, students enhanced their number sense, sequencing skills, place value understanding, and creativity while enjoying a hands-on learning experience.
Primary - Activity - Roman Numerals Clock
Class 4 students enthusiastically participated in the “Roman Numerals Clock” activity to explore Roman numerals from I to XII. They created attractive clock models using chart paper/cardboard and represented numerals with matchsticks, toothpicks, and earbuds. Students creatively designed their clocks and demonstrated different timings using movable hands. The activity provided a hands-on learning experience, helping students connect mathematical concepts with real-life applications while enhancing creativity and conceptual understanding.
Secondary - Activity - Number Patterns
Class 6 students explored the fascinating world of “Number Patterns” through a creative and visual learning activity. They beautifully represented different number patterns using a variety of materials such as bindis, pom-poms, stones, and decorative elements. By arranging these materials in meaningful sequences, students transformed mathematical patterns into attractive visual displays. The activity nurtured their logical reasoning, observation skills, creativity, and conceptual understanding while making the learning experience interactive and enjoyable.
