Republic Day Celebration
Students of Hanumant High School celebrated the 77th Republic Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The programme began with a flag hoisting ceremony by the Principal, Vice Principal and Ishika Selot from Grade 1, followed by the National Anthem sung by all present, creating a feeling of unity and pride. The cultural programme started with an original version of Vande Mataram sung by the students of Grade 9, which filled the atmosphere with patriotism. This was followed by a wonderful dance performance by the Senior KG students on the song India wale, showing how proud these tiny tots are of being called Indians. The patriotic and festive mood was carried on by the students of Grade 4, who presented a beautiful dance on a fusion of patriotic songs, resonating with the feelings of the audience and adding charm to the celebration. Nishal Rathod from Grade 5 then delivered a speech emphasising the importance of Republic Day and the values of the Indian Constitution. After this short speech, students of Grade 8 enthralled the audience with an energetic dance performance that was highly appreciated by the audience, paying their respects to Bharat Mata. Principal Sir addressed the gathering with an inspiring speech, motivating students to be responsible citizens and to respect the Constitution of India. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Aditya Saini, a student of Grade 8. The event witnessed participation of the students of Hanumant High School in large numbers, along with a massive participation of parents and well-wishers. Parents expressed their joy in seeing these students take up the stage and showcase not just their talents but also their love and dedication for our great nation, Bharat. The celebration left a joyful and patriotic note in the hearts of everyone who witnessed this event.
Vasant Panchami Celebration
Clothes Donation
On the auspicious occasion of Vasant Panchami, the students of Hanumant High School actively participated in a charity donation drive. With a deep sense of empathy and social responsibility, the students personally visited the Gujarati Shala students donated clothes and toys to the children at their homes.
This thoughtful initiative reflected the values of kindness, sharing, and compassion. The drive not only brought happiness to the recipients but also nurtured the spirit of humanity and service among our students.
G K Olympiad Winners
Hanumant High School proudly celebrates the success of its students in the GK Olympiad. Khadija Jamani of Grade 2 and Nishka Mehta of Grade 3 achieved excellent results and brought pride to the school.
Their achievement reflects their dedication, curiosity, and strong general knowledge. The school congratulates both students and wishes them continued success in their academic journey.
Hindi Olympiad Winners
Students of Hanumant High School showcased excellent performance in the Hindi Olympiad, conducted as per the CBSE pattern. Their achievement reflects strong language skills, dedication, and a deep understanding of Hindi.

Primary - Subject and Verb Agreement
Students of the primary section participated in an engaging hands-on activity to reinforce the concept of subject–verb agreement. They created colourful hand cut-outs highlighting correct subject and verb usage and confidently explained their learning. The activity encouraged creativity, active participation, and better understanding of grammar concepts, making learning both fun and effective. Students proudly presented their work, explaining how the subject and verb must agree in number and person.
Primary - Puppet show
As part of the EVS lesson “More Indian Cities”, the Grade 3 students joyfully participated in a vibrant activity titled “Flavours and Fabrics of India – A Celebration of Unity in Diversity” on 22nd January 2026. The activity beautifully highlighted India’s rich cultural heritage through its diverse food habits and traditional costumes.
The classroom transformed into a colourful representation of India as students, divided into groups, showcased different states and cities of the country. Dressed in simple yet elegant traditional attire, the children proudly represented their assigned states, reflecting the uniqueness of Indian fabrics and styles.
Alongside the costumes, students displayed a variety of delicious home-prepared vegetarian food items. Each display was accompanied by a neatly prepared label or pamphlet mentioning the name of the state, the dish, its main ingredients, type of food, occasions when it is commonly eaten, and an interesting fact.
The students confidently explained their presentations, sharing how food and clothing vary across regions while still uniting the nation. This engaging hands-on activity helped students understand the concept of “Unity in Diversity” in a meaningful and enjoyable way. It encouraged curiosity, creativity, teamwork, and boosted their confidence in speaking and presentation skills.
The event was a delightful learning experience and a true celebration of India’s cultural diversity, leaving both students and teachers enriched and inspired.
Primary - Puppet show
An English Puppet Activity integrated with Art was conducted for Grade 3 students on 17th January 2026 as part of the Multiple Assessment (MA) activity. The activity was based on the English literature lesson “The Lion and the Mouse.” The objective of the activity was to enhance students’ listening, speaking, creativity, and storytelling skills while integrating art with language learning. Students actively participated by making puppets of the Lion and the Mouse using art materials.
Prior to the presentation, students prepared the story with proper narration and dialogues. They then presented the story in puppet form in front of their classmates. The use of puppets helped students express the story confidently and creatively. The activity created an engaging and joyful learning environment. Students showed enthusiasm, teamwork, and imagination throughout the process. This integrated activity helped improve their communication skills, confidence, and understanding of the story’s moral.
Overall, the English Puppet Activity was a successful and enriching learning experience for Grade 3 students.
Primary -Show and Tell – Animals and Their Sounds
As part of the lesson “Pashu–Pakshiyon ki Boliyan”, students were asked to bring a toy or picture of an animal or bird. Some students also came dressed in animal costumes. Each student introduced their animal or bird to the class and told its sound (boliya). Students enjoyed acting out the sounds and watching their classmates’ presentations. The teacher guided the students and corrected pronunciation wherever required.The activity was enjoyable and educational. It helped students understand the concept of animals’ and birds’ sounds in an effective and fun way.
Primary - math - Time
Grade 1 students were engaged in an outdoor mathematics activity where they drew large clocks on the ground using colored chalk. The students carefully wrote the numbers on the clock face and drew the hour and minute hands to show given times. They worked with focus and interest, demonstrating their understanding of clock structure and time reading. This hands-on activity encouraged creativity, active participation, and better comprehension of the concept of time, making learning enjoyable and effective.
Primary - Hindi - Patang
The chapter “Patang” was taught to Grade 1 students to help them learn about kites and their importance in our culture. The lesson was integrated with the Art subject to make learning joyful, creative, and activity-based.
The lesson began with a discussion about patang (kite). Students shared their experiences of flying kites with their family and friends. Pictures and real kites were shown to help students understand the shape,colors, and parts of a kite.
