Blessings Ceremony Grade - 10 & 12
On Tuesday, 10th February, Hanumant High School organised a Blessing ceremony for the students of Grades 10 and 12. The ceremony was conducted for blessing the students for the upcoming board examination and to wish them success in their future endeavours. The ceremony began with a sacred Havan performed for the well-being, good health, and bright future of the students. The chanting of mantras created a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere on the school campus. Teachers and students participated with devotion and sincerity. After the Havan, a unity meal was organised in which teachers and students sat together and shared food. This activity reflected unity, harmony, and a strong bond between teachers and students. Everyone enjoyed the meal and spent quality time together. At the end of the programme, a photo session was arranged where students and teachers clicked photographs for memories. These pictures captured beautiful moments of togetherness, joy, and emotional bonding, which will always remain memorable. The farewell ceremony was simple yet meaningful. It conveyed the school’s love and blessings to the students of Grades 10 and 12 and encouraged them to move forward with confidence and determination. The programme concluded with warm wishes for their bright and successful future.
Mother Language Day Celebration
GRADE - 6
On the occasion of International Mother Language Day, a Sequential Sentence Activity was conducted in Std. 6. The sentences were taken from the Hindi lesson “Hind Mahasagar”. The students were given jumbled sentences and were asked to arrange them in proper sequence.
The objective of the activity was to develop language skills, improve sentence formation and enhance understanding of the lesson. Students actively participated in the activity and showed great interest. They discussed among themselves and arranged the sentences correctly.
Through this activity, students improved their reading, thinking and logical sequencing skills. The activity was successful and helped students understand the lesson in an enjoyable way.

GRADE - 9
On the occasion of International Mother Language Day, an engaging and joyful Hindi language activity was organized for the Grade 9 students. The programme aimed to develop students’ interest in their national language and to enhance their speaking and reading skills in an enjoyable way.

To improve pronunciation, fluency, and clarity in Hindi
To build confidence in speaking Hindi in front of others
To make language learning fun, interactive, and stress-free
To create awareness about linguistic diversity
The main highlight of the programme was the Hindi Tongue Twister Activity, which helped students strengthen their pronunciation and speaking skills. The activity was conducted through two interesting games:
Padho Fatafat – Students were given short Hindi passages and tongue twisters to read quickly and clearly. This activity encouraged fast reading with correct pronunciation.
Tongue Twister – Say It 5 Times – Students had to repeat Hindi tongue twisters five times continuously without errors. The game filled the classroom with laughter and enthusiasm.
The students participated actively and enjoyed the activities a lot. The atmosphere was lively and full of excitement.
Today, the students of Grade 9 of Hanumant High School celebrated Mother Language Day with great enthusiasm. The activity was organised to develop students’ creativity and to improve their language and presentation skills. On this occasion, students prepared poems and short stories in the English language. All the compositions were self-written and showed their imagination and originality. The students eagerly presented their work in the classroom and spoke with confidence and clarity. Through this activity, students learnt the art of presentation and improved their communication skills. They also developed confidence to speak in front of others. The activity was enjoyable as well as educational for all the participants. Overall, the Mother Language Day Activity proved to be a meaningful and successful event for the students of Grade 9.
Primary - Activity - Interjections
On 13th February 2026, an activity on the topic “Interjections” was conducted in the Grade 3 English Grammar class. The objective of the activity was to help students understand the meaning and use of interjections in a simple and interesting way.
During the activity, students were asked to write different types of interjection words on a sheet of paper. They wrote words such as Wow!, Oh!, Hurray!, Oops!, Alas!, and Yippee! After writing the words, students shared them with the class and explained the feelings they expressed.
Through this activity, students learned that interjections are words used to show sudden and strong feelings such as happiness, surprise, pain, sorrow, or excitement. The hands-on activity helped them clearly understand different types of interjection words and their usage in sentences.
The activity was interactive and engaging. Students participated actively and showed great enthusiasm while sharing their responses. Overall, the activity successfully improved their understanding of interjections and made the learning process enjoyable and meaningful.
Primary - Activity - Phases of Moon
On 25th February 2026, an interesting and hands-on activity was conducted in Grade 3 as part of the EVS lesson on Solar System, Moon and Stars. The objective of the activity was to help students understand the phases of the Moon in a simple and fun way.
This was an individual activity, where each student created their own model of the Moon phases using Oreo biscuits. The biscuits were carefully twisted open, and students gently scraped the cream to represent different phases such as New Moon, Crescent Moon, First Quarter, Gibbous Moon, Full Moon, and Last Quarter.
Each student arranged the biscuits in the correct order to show as phases of moon due to its visibility from the Earth. Before beginning the activity, the concept of the Moon’s movement around the Earth was explained. Students were encouraged to observe the night sky at home and relate it to what they learned in class.
The activity helped students: Clearly understand the sequence of Moon phases. Develop fine motor skills while shaping the cream. Improve observation and thinking skills. Build confidence by presenting their individual work.
Students were highly enthusiastic and actively involved throughout the session. They enjoyed shaping the biscuits and were excited to see how each phase looked different. Overall, the activity was successful in making learning interactive, enjoyable, and meaningful. It strengthened conceptual understanding and created a memorable learning experience for the students.
Primary - Activity - Our green Earth activity
An activity was conducted on 18th February 2026 for Grade 4 students as part of the Science lesson Our Green Earth. The objective of the activity was to help students understand the importance of reusing materials to protect our environment.
Students were instructed in advance to bring an old T-shirt from home. During the activity, they creatively transformed their old T-shirts into shopping bags without using any new materials. The students cut and tied the fabric carefully to give it the shape of a reusable bag.
Through this hands-on activity, students learned the concept of reuse and understood how old items can be transformed into useful new products instead of being thrown away. They also realized how reusing materials helps in reducing waste and protecting our planet.
The activity was engaging, creative, and educational. Students actively participated with enthusiasm and showed great interest in environmental conservation. It helped them develop creativity, responsibility towards nature, and awareness about sustainable practices.
Overall, the activity successfully reinforced the message of Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle and encouraged students to adopt eco-friendly habits in their daily lives.
Secondary - Activity - Consequences of Cutting Forests on a Large Scale
On 20th February 2026, Grade 6 students participated in an informative and awareness-based activity on the topic “Consequences of Cutting Forests on a Large Scale.” The objective of the activity was to help students understand the harmful effects of large-scale deforestation on the environment, wildlife, and human life. Students explored how cutting forests leads to loss of biodiversity, soil erosion, climate change, disturbance in the water cycle, and increase in global temperature.
The activity was conducted through various creative methods such as PPT presentations, role play, drama performances, and poem recitations. Students presented PowerPoint slides explaining the causes and consequences of deforestation. Through role play and drama, they portrayed animals losing their habitats, the impact on farmers and humans, and the importance of saving trees. Some students also recited meaningful poems spreading the message of “Save Trees, Save Earth.”
The activity encouraged environmental awareness, creativity, teamwork, and public speaking skills. It
helped students connect classroom learning with real-life environmental issues and inspired them to take responsibility for protecting forests and conserving nature.
Secondary - Activity - Improvement in Food Resources
Students of Grade 9 participated in a comprehensive group activity focused on the chapter "Improvement in Food Resources." The class was divided into four groups; each was assigned a specific core topic. To ensure a deep dive into the subject matter, students subdivided their group topics for individual explanations, supported by visual and tactile learning tools. Methodology & Components
• Collaborative PPTs: Each group designed a PowerPoint presentation to illustrate the technical and
data-driven aspects of their assigned topic.
• Model Making: Students constructed physical models to demonstrate practical applications, such as
irrigation systems and sustainable farming layouts.
• Individual Analysis Assignments: To complement the group work, every student completed an
individual assignment aimed at analysing specific case studies or data points related to their sub-topic.
• Peer Presentations: Each member explained their portion individually, ensuring that every student
took ownership of their learning.
