Primary - Activity - Importance of First Aid Kit
Students of Hanumant High School of Grade 5 B received the knowledge of First Aid Kit on Wednesday, 23rd August 2023. First aid is generally performed by someone with basic medical training. First aid is the first and immediate assistance given to any person with either a minor or serious illness or injury, with care provided to preserve life, prevent the condition from worsening, or to promote recovery until medical services arrive. First-aid kits help you handle medical emergencies as quickly as possible. These kits offer basic and instant care for common medical injuries.
Students of Grade 5 B now know the importance of having a First Aid Kit at their homes also. Students promised that they would tell their parents to keep and maintain a First Aid Kit or Medical Kit in ready to use. No one knows what would happen to him/her in coming time. So it is rightly said, ‘Prevention is better than cure”
Primary - Activity - Roman Numerals Clock
“Mathematics may not teach us how to add love or minus hate. But it gives us every reason to hope that every problem has a SOLUTION.”
Learning about different numeral systems develops critical thinking and understanding. It is a great way to help students improve their number sense. Roman numerals system was used by the ancient Romans for writing numbers. This system only uses the letters I, V, X, L, C, D and M and these letters are combined to make different whole numbers. The lesson of Roman Numerals was introduced through a Power Point presentation explaining all the rules, with a follow up hands – on activity wherein the students designed their own Roman Numeral Clock using matchsticks, straw, or candysticks. There was a fantastic response from the students, where each one of them was super excited to finish and decorate the clock. It was an enthralling learning experience for the students of Grade 4.
Primary - Activity - Making Origami Dog
Hanumant High School believes in shaping the minds of the students creatively. The students of Grade 2 displayed their creativity by making a dog using Origami, the ancient Japanese art.
The students of Grade 2 created origami dog by following the instructions given by the Art Teacher. Origami is the folding of paper to create art in different shapes. There are many variations of origami dogs, some different breeds of dogs, others different parts of the dog (like the head). Origami can be a fun activity to do and is easy to do—all you need is a piece of paper and a hard surface to fold on.
This activity will enhance their creativity skills, improve focus and concentration and cultivate attention to detail. It will also give them a sense of accomplishment.
Primary - Activity - Ragnometry
Rangometry likely involves using geometric shapes like circles, squares, triangles and rectangles to construct intricate designs. Students can experiment with variations in size arrangement and color to produce captivating patterns that catch the viewer’s eye. This approach encourages students to explore mathematical concepts in a creative and artistic manner.
Keeping this point in mind our art teacher introduced rangometry as a way for students to engage with geometry beyond traditional mathematical exercises. Students of Grade 5 th here used different color application and explored designs on their own with the help of their peers to create different shapes.
The benefits of rangometry project were shown to the children in the way of integration of subjects, spatial thinking and creative expressions.
Secondary - Coin Exhibition
The Student of hanumant High School witnessed an exhibition on Friday 25th August, which would open their minds for curiosity. The students of grade 6 and 7 brought their efforts together to make this exhibition a grand success.
Those students who have more interest in Social Science know the value of this exhibition. This activity was a part of Social Science so this exhibition helped the students to understand the meaning of archaeological sources. The students of class 6 th and 7 th brought and very well presented the collected currency notes and coins varying by the ancient times to modern times, hand-made to machine-made and Indian to foreign countries. The time for the students to experience the exhibition was 09.00 am to 10.40 am.
The students made invitation cards on their own and invited the principal of the school, Mr. Rajesh Tiwari and Primary and Secondary Coordinators to visit the exhibition. All the classes visited the exhibition with their class teachers. The whole exhibition was organized by Mr. Prashant and Mr. Suman, well experienced teachers of Hanumant High School.
Principal Sir, Mr. Rajesh Tiwari appreciated the efforts and hard work of the students and teachers to make this whole event successful.
Secondary - Activity - Mathematics Working Model
Students of Hanumant High School of grade X prepared a working model of Mathematics. Principal Sir, Mr. Rajesh Tiwari observed the models with curiosity. It was very well explained and presented by the students. Working with models can enhance system’s thinking abilities. Models and model development are useful for helping students learn quantitative skills such as graphing, graphical analysis, and visualization; statistics; computational skills, mathematics.
Yashvi with her group members Suhani, Priyal, Rushita, Ayush and Anuj presented Quiz box related to Mathematical Identity. Mensuration Park was represented by Ansh and his group members Jatan, Yuvraj, Priyansh and Kavin. They explained the importance of 2D and 3D shapes. Avni and her group members Maitri, Prince, Shiven, Siddharth and Disha explained the Trigonometry park model and different types of objects.
The Principal sir praised and appreciated the students for their efforts and hard work. Principal sir also guided the students that these types of objects can also be used in real life. Nirbhay with his team members Devang, Harshil, and Viraj effectively displayed a working model of quiz box where they explained how to use circuits in a mathematical way and explained trigonometric and algebraic identity.
Secondary - Vedic Math Workshop
Hanumant High School organized a Vedic Math Workshop on 21st, 22nd and 23rd August, 2023. This highly valuable workshop was organized by Mr. Jay Senta. Students of grade 7 to 10 attended this workshop. Vedic Math or Vedic Mathematics is a collection of Methods or Sutras to solve numerical computations quickly and faster. Vedic Math makes students more capable to deal with numbers easily. It helps them solve any calculations like roots, square roots, cubes and squares in an effective manner. It was highly knowledgeable and valuable workshop for the students.

Creative Teachers Corner
Think of a bird flying,
a beast lying,
a stream flowing,
a flower glowing,
a hill slanting;
a mountain melting.
Nature has got freedom
In its kingdom.
The entire world is free, free and free.
Think of a child weeping;
a woman sweeping;
a youth waiting;
a grown up sweating;
a girl shying;
an old man dying.
Nature is against these all,
they are bound to rise and fall,
they have their bans and walls,
they love their caged life.
Yet all the world is free, free and free.
