The Shivlinga holds great significance in Hindu mythology as a representation of Lord Shiva, one of the principal deities in the religion. The concept of a shivlinga where the shivlinga is believed to be growing or displaying lifelike characteristics is a subject that blends mythology, spirituality and science fiction. Here the girls of grades 8th showed their creativity by making shivlingas from clay using clay modelling techniques.

This report delves into the concept of Shiv Linga, examining its roots in mythology and exploring the feasibility of such a phenomenon from both spiritual and scientific perspectives. On mythological basis the Shivlinga symbolizes the cosmic union of Lord Shiva and Shakti. According to the spiritual interpretation, the idea of a living shivlinga could be interpreted metaphorically. And symbolize the ongoing cycle of creation, preservation and destruction, which are central themes in Hindu cosmology.
