Welcome to my digital portfolio! My name is Amanda Morgret.  I am a graduate of Shippensburg University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education.  I also am a graduate of Penn State University with a master's degree in teaching and curriculum.  I have continued my education beyond my master's with technology through Eduspire and Millersville University.  I am a level 1 and 2 Google Certified Educator.  For 24 years, I have enjoyed teaching and inspiring 3rd and 4th graders in Hanover Public School District in Hanover, PA.

I am a professional, caring, and dedicated educator that is committed to making sure every student reaches their highest potential. During my years as a classroom teacher, I have been a skilled classroom manager that delivers lesson plans designed to reach my students’ unique learning styles. Each year, I work to establish a respectful rapport with students, parents, and fellow staff. Throughout my career, I have been eager to learn and use new technologies to engage and excite learners. These new technologies have also helped me to develop better communication with parents and the community. I have also aided other teachers in implementing new technologies in their classrooms. Ultimately, my greatest moments as a teacher have been when I am able to inspire my students to become self-motivated, lifelong learners through the use of technology.
