Mrs.Konetski's Kindergarten

WELCOME to our world!

Our days in Kindergarten are filled with Reading, Language, Math, Science, Social Studies, Exercising , Art, and Music to name a few items. It is a time to enjoy and learn.

*Please check your little one's take home folder daily for items on the Keep side (take this out and put them in an area that you can check on them when needed) and the items on the Return to School side are to be worked on and signed to come back. . This is a vital part of our communication.

*Kindergarten children do receive a small amount of home work daily Monday thru Thursday. A great piece of advice is to have an area that the children can do their work in that also has access to crayons, pencils, glue sticks, etc. that may be required to complete the pages or projects. I ask that you sign the homework nightly.

Gym days are very much looked forward to by all!

We usually have our GYM on Tuesday. Children may wear comfy clothes and sneakers (NO JEANS).

Whether we are indoors or out, we are moving and enjoying ourselves.

The children MAY bring in a small HEALTHY snack if they wish. The word HEALTHY is the key. Please do not send sugary drinks or snack items. They will come home to be enjoyed.

Please take a moment to review the pages in the Student Handbook that will be sent home. Kindergarten does NOT use this as a homework assignment book. It is filled with many important items that parents can familiarize themselves with to help their child have a successful school year. PLEASE KEEP THIS HOME and accessible.
