Mrs. Montoya's Class
Week 3
Week 3
This past week has been great getting to know your student and start building relationships with them as well as working on our policies and procedures!
Please remember to have your child wear the correct shoes and clothes for PE on Monday and Friday
Their rest time towles were sent home Friday. Please make sure to bring them back Monday.
Their purple folders should also come back everyday as well.
Every week, we will have weekly assessments. This includes their memory verse, writing and showing the value of their numbers we have been working on, and showing they know where to start reading books.
Please remember In order to keep the drop off and pick up running smoothly, please always pull all the way forward in the drive, and do not get out of your car. Have your children ready to get out of the car in the morning so everyone has an opportunity to pull through the drive before the 8 AM bell rings. Students may not get out of the car until you have pulled on to the cement during drop off, and for safety reasons, parents must walk children from the event parking lot on to campus.
Please do not let your child bring a "stuffie" or toys to school.
Please be mindful of the dress code at our school. A full explanation of the dress code is found on P. 9 in the Parent/Student Handbook. Before your child leaves for school, please check that their shorts (6' inseam for 3rd and up) or skirt (for girls) are not too short, their shirts have sleeves and are not too short to show the midriff if their hand is raised, and that they have close toed shoes on. Leggings/bike shorts are only permitted for K-4th grade if the shirt is long enough to cover the bottom. Thanks for your help!
