Mrs. verhoeven's Class
Week 27
Week 27
It was so nice to see so many grandparents on campus for Grandparents Day on Friday! Students had so much fun sharing their songs and then having grandparents visit our classroom.
March 19h is our Farm Day field trip! I have the chaperones I need! We will be leaving on our bus at 8:20 and we'll spend the morning at the Kings County Fair Grounds. Our class, along with other 3rd-grade classes from around the county, will follow a rotation of presenters from the valley connected with agriculture. We will leave the fairgrounds at 11:30 and head to Civic Plaza Park to eat our student- provided picnic lunch. We will have Superiors ice cream there for dessert and we'll be heading back to school by 1:00. Thanks! We are looking forward to our trip! (We will be contacting you soon about flavor choice and payment information for a Superior ice cream kid's cup.)
We are so excited to find out more about the many cultures/countries represented in our class through the upcoming Cultural Awareness project. The projects will be due on March 23. See more information below in the homework section.
Book Character Day will be March 6. See the following link for details!
