About The Teacher

I graduated from Hancock High School in 1989. I graduated from Southwest State University, Marshall in 1994.

I have taught Preschool in Hancock for 9 years and Kindergarten for 8 years. This is my 16th year in 3rd grade. I have been married to Jason for 28 years and we have 3 children, Shae is 26 and is married to Kyle Gerlach. We are excited to be first time grandparents!! Bowyn Kay was born on October 4th. They live on a farm by Mt. Vernon, SD. Collin is 23 and lives in Mt. Vernon, SD working as an agronomist. Bryn is 17 and is a senior this year.

Mission For The Class

To provide a positive environment for the students and teachers. We want this to be a very safe and nurturing place for the students of any age. In third grade we will work on friendships, getting along, managing our time, math, reading, writing, phonics skills, plus many other fun units!!
