There may be knowledgeable people who can give you valuable information for your research project. When you question people to learn about a topic, it is called an interview.
What is an interview?
An interview is when you question an expert in the field to find out more about a subject.
When do I use an interview?
Interviews are helpful if you need an expert's viewpoint or information from someone who has firsthand experience with something.
How do I conduct an interview?
Consider the kind of person you would like to interview. It could be an expert in the topic you are learning about, an educator or investigator who focuses on your subject, or a writer who has written about your subject. Once you have identified a qualified person, arrange to meet and create a list of possible questions. See the slideshow below for more information.
